Hi Friends and Family,
You should all have your invitations by now- if you haven't received it let us know! The church we had planned to get married in is under renovation on the day of the wedding, so we're now booked in at Trinity Methodist Church in Clive Square East- between Dickins and Emmerson st. It's close to the shops and Marine Parade so there will be plenty to do between the wedding and reception.
We will have some bubbles and fruit platters across the road in the gardens where the group photos will be taken, so be sure to stick around for that.
Just one final note- if anyone has spare rooms at their accommodation or knows of anyone willing to let their house out over that weekend we would love to hear from you!

The Latest
Hi Friends and Family,
Welcome to the wedding blog! Not long to go now until the big day. We've finally settled on venues and times for the day so here we go:
12th February 2011
2pm Ceremony at St Pauls Church on Tennyson st Napier
Followed by reception at 5pm The Old Church Restaurant, Taradale (pictured left)
We'll have parents' facilities at both venues so please feel free to bring your infants. For children and toddlers we'll put on some dvds and a sitter for the evening at a home nearby. If you would like more information about this please call either Dan or Helena (details on the contacts page).
There's so much to do in the Bay so we do encourage you to make a weekend of it. As you know it is the Mission Concert that weekend so if you haven't already, please do get onto some accommodation. We have a few spare rooms with various guests that are going, so if you're stuck for a place to stay or have extra room at the place you've booked please contact us and we'll pair those who need with those who have surplus!

The Countdown Begins for the 12th February 2011
Welcome to our wedding info site. We thought this blog-site might make communicating important information about the weekend a little easier and also help out with accommodation suggestions for out-of-towners (which make up 90% of you!). Formal invitations will be sent later on in the year.
Our reception will be held at the Old Church Restaurant, Meanee Rd Taradale. We're still tying down a venue for the wedding, so watch this space (we'll update this site when we know).
Hawke's Bay is particularly busy this time of year with winery concerts and tourists, therefore it's really important to get your accommodation booked as early as possible. We've posted some ideas and options under the accommodation tab at the top of the page.
